I should have named this post " My hair brained scheme". I recently saw a Groupon for a obstacle course & from past experiences I knew that I would love it. Little did I know, this was not an obstacle course for the faint of hearts. Side note: do research on races, before signing up! This obstacles was categorized in the elite fashion. As the days grew closer & closer, I tried to get talk myself out of going. But I had simply told to many people that I was going to compete in this race- so I had to do it. Keron H. came along with me as a spectator/photographer/ person to hold my keys. How thankful I was for her!
4 1/2 miles race, 26 obstacles later.....
I climbed over countless walls, wadded through numerous mud pits and carried heavy boulders to get those ribbons around my neck. ( granted everyone competing received them). I was just glad I pushed through all of the pain & muck- to complete that race. Huge accomplishment & I'm pretty glad I did it! Waiting for next years Spartan!
