Jeffrey's promotion

Time to celebrate! Jeffrey made his Staff Sgt promotion just within 5 years time. I know that may need mean a lot to many- but those of us that are Army, get the huge importance of this. Typically people are not even considered for this rank/promotion until they have served a minimum of 6 years. But with Jeffrey's great track record and leadership he was immediately spotted for this new promotion. Sadly, I was not there for the pinning ceremony, but I did receive lots of pictures. One of these days, he will have some sort of promotion or ceremony state side where I can be in attendance or even pin the new rank on him myself. In due time...

In addition to this new promotion, Jeffrey has been listed in the top 10% of outstanding soldiers here on this base.  My heart is bursting with pride even as I type this. I know this deployment has been so strenuous and stressful on him. and even in the midst of all the he is doing there, he still passed this board! I'm very proud of him and he  truly deserves . He is a wonderful leader & I'm glad that he was recognized for this & all of his accomplishments.  So now, when comes back state side, he will begin preparing for yet another wonderful opportunity awarded to him for his outstanding work- he has been accepted into Special Forces. Jump school & rigorous pt- here he comes! We begin that journey soon...
